We need solutions that address the roots of these problems, like inadequate protections for labor rights and personal privacy. Peraltro, il rapporto Draghi (pp. 24-25) a cui la Bussola dichiara di ispirarsi , oltre a dare per scontata la valutazione bibliometrica della ricerca, si lagna della scarsa commercializzazione della ricerca di base - come se anche la ricerca di base dovesse essere al servizio di interessi aziendali.

In generale, l'idea di imitare alcuni aspetti degli USA proprio in un momento in cui stanno emergendo tutti i loro limiti non sembra particolarmente lungimirante.

#SALAMI #DeepSeek #AI I salumieri occidentali, quando si tratta di usare i dati "altrui", invocano la dicotomia idea-espressione delle idee. Quando invece si tratta dei dati presunti "loro" levano altissimi lamenti ("succhiano la conoscenza dal modello genitore").

Il problema di fondo, come al solito, è il concetto di "proprietà intellettuale", il quale tratta la conoscenza, bene peraltro non rivale, come qualcosa di indipendente dal pensiero che si può "succhiare". Se non si mette in discussione questo concetto, di fronte ad attori così potenti e prepotenti, le barriere legali inventate per delimitarlo rischiano di venir erose.

Nel frattempo, "Open"AI, per consolarsi, può "succhiare" il concetto (orientale) di Karma.
