Watching it through really does show that its a well-designed but very ordinary device and quite a dated design, nothing exotic at all. If I'm able to follow it, it isn't bleeding edge. In fact I'd go so far as to say this design would barely compete with anything post mid-90s.

Amiable electronics repair guy Mend It Mark posted YT vid of a repair on an ultra-audiophile phono preamp unit (£25k new). Apparently only 10 hand-made each year.
Manufacturer didn't like it. Did a dodgy copyright strike on grounds his schematics are copyright which isn't actually a thing for reverse engineered block diagrams. Also sent threatening letters.
Mark being a nice guy took the video down.
Now the video is up again on other people's channels.
