Hoy un #viernesdeescritorio algo distinto, porque doy por concluido mi proyecto de #upgrade de mi #thinkpad #T440p:

- Pantalla IPS 1080p
- SSD 512 GB
- Caddy de DVD reemplazado por un caddy de HDD (SSD extra de 512 GB)
- Procesador actualizado a un i7-4712MQ
- Pasta térmica Grizzly Kryonaut
- Teclado US reemplazado por otro con layout ES (original, de eBay)
- RAM actualizada a 12 GB
- Batería original de 9 celdas nueva

No puedo estar más contento, con #kde #plasma en #endeavouros vuela :)

Totally agree @freemo ! But #Linux #compatibility is higher on #Thinkpad more than #Ideapad or lower tiers models ^^
This said, compatibility is anyway higher than other #brands :3
I have a #T440p and a ideapag gaming with amd... and only have problems with the latter which has no #driver to regulate the brightness HW level, must regulate by adjusting the gamma value via script and same for the battery which has no fine control on the charge level as Thinkpad models have, i.e. start charging at 70% and stop at 75%. On the ideapad I can only manually set the charge to stop charging at 50% or 100% u.u

Con el Dock #Thinkpad he conectado mi #T440P a dos monitores, teclado y ratón, impresora, altavoz y cable RJ45.
Genial para trabajar en mi despacho e irme a otra clase del cole para seguir currando.
Todo con equipos de 2ª mano.
