Finished a jar of peanut butter this morning, and flashed to the ant-eater tongue with which my guy would remove EVERY trace of something good from a container. Thought of you.

(He was thin here at 12, just recovering from back surgery. He had 5 more glorious years with us.)

A very light-colored Golden Retriever is sitting on green grass, totally focused on a red and white Friendly's ice cream cup. His tongue is out in mid-lick, curling up over his very pink nose. Those bright black eyes are 100% focused on the remaining molecules of ice cream. It was breezy, and his fairly long hair is blowing in the wind, giving him a photo-shoot-like appearance. He always wanted to be a model.
