Think to have pinpointed the folded asphalt that formed in #Grindavik close south to the small fissure. That is another sign there is some #transtension (extension with a #transform component) going on. Same as the en-echelon steps in the #fissures #Iceland. Orientation of Maximum horizontal #compression in the order of 050-230.
