I managed to get a video of this dark pattern. 12 seconds in you can finally see the faint "skip" button pop in. First I have to click the 'What's happening under the hood?" link. Then I have to leave the explanation on the screen for a while, then skip appears.

UX/UI портфолио. Часть 2: «Ковристость» или ничего не понятно, но очень интересно

Одна из наиболее востребованных и горячих тем, связанных с дизайном — это, конечно же, трудоустройство, портфолио, собеседования и все, что связано с профессиональной реализацией. На Youtube такие видео набирают просмотры даже на небольших каналах. За год изучения вопроса и погружения в тематику посмотрел большое количество текстов и видео. Если все эти материалы сжать в одну эмоцию, то это однозначно будет «страдание». Дизайнеры страдают… Недавно попалось видео в котором молодая дизайнерка рассказывала трагическую и поучительную историю своего трудоустройства, сравнимую по накалу страстей ни много ни мало с самим Гамлетом. Фабула: заказчики дураки, а я в белом пальто стою красивая. Ну, и конечно, не обошлось без советов космического масштаба и космической же глупости… Высокая конкуренция — это всегда стресс, но это не значит, что действовать нужно наугад в надежде, что в итоге количество перейдет в качество… может не перейти. Про графический дизайн не берусь судить, но в дизайне интерфейсов, UX/UI главная задача — сделать удобно, понятно и эстетично. Ровно эти же требования предъявляются и к хорошему портфолио т.е. умелый UX/UI дизайнер вынужден подходить к своему портфолио «юиксово», но к сожалению так бывает далеко не всегда. Я задумал написать серию небольших статей в жанре «что такое хорошо и что такое плохо» в отношении портфолио UX/UI дизайнера. Надеюсь, эти скромные труды хотя бы немного снизят градус страданий от отказов и игнора со стороны потенциальных работодателей.

I’m working on a spiking network preview app and I think it should utilize a modular approach. Also, I want to keep the UI in Python, though I don’t know Tk, like at all. But I believe that Tk libraries are packed already with Python, so I won’t need to wrap my head around building and shipping Qt or wxWidgets libraries.

It will surely work in favour of progress towards a United Ireland IMO, as RTE and Republic based media should do the exact opposite. Make all their media available in all parts of the UK. Spread the message of the positive aspects for being a member of the EU, and how London should remove themselves from control of the Occupied Six in Northern Ireland.
The BBC have become increasingly partial and narrow, and have lost their reputation as an objective or reliable network for information. This is the UK narrowing its borders even more, having left the EU. Not just freedom of movement is reduced; it seems freedom of information is likely to be reduced also. #Think32 #UI #UKPol #IRLPol
