It’s been a long process, but now it’s official #ubuntu https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/uk-loco-has-been-handed-over-to-the-new-leader/65120
@lemgandi @beeware thanks, I asked on briefcase github for help, but of course it's not really a briefcase problem, so they might not answer.
I installed the package, but it still does not work. Replicated it to a newly installed #ubuntu but problem is there as well.
Is there a #BeeWare community somewhere to ask things? #python
Final Benchmarks Of #ClearLinux On Intel: ~48% Faster Than #Ubuntu Out-Of-The-Box
Even when changing Ubuntu 25.04 from its defaults to using the "performance" governor that is common for #Linux #servers, Clear Linux was still 16% faster than Ubuntu 25.04 with the performance governor.
For the two Intel Xeon Max 9468 Sapphire Rapids processors, the Clear Linux power consumption was very close to Ubuntu 25.04 with the performance governor.

I suppose an alternative would be to keep using #Ubuntu but use a #Docker container that matches #Lambda, but I generally try to avoid #containers unless the project requires them just for ergonomics sake (again, I'm rarely using anything that's not a #NodeJs dependency)
That's it: 48 hours later, #Ubuntu is installed.
I think someone not tech-savvy would have shipped the unit back after 24 hours of fighting with it.
It was *not* easy. Lots to debug.
& the first few doc paragraphs I read were in English, but as my problems became more mysterious, the answers devolved into a geek-speak I could not always parse. "Do x, then y, then flerb as usual," where "flerb" was *not* hyperlinked.
Now it's pretty, & good-enough. I'll experiment and see how it serves.

gihyo.jp@edboythinks personally I'm in the process of.migrating from #Ubuntu fonts to #B612 because they are superior yet more permissively licensed.
Sadly I've not found an elegant way to force #SunGalatDemi into the #Linux #kernel as #Console #Font and #license-wise that would not work (#CDDL is incompatible with #GPLv2) nor would it make sense as any machine that I can't #SSH into runs in #MDA mode thus only has the hardware fonts of that mode anyway...

OMG! Ubuntu@publicvoit Never used #mint myself. I'm an #ubuntu user.
I think Debian would be too much of a change. And I hear Mint is good because it's not a big visual change. So maybe just try reinstalling and this time, increase swap partition to se if hibernate works.
As for the encrypted /home, not sure how to include root also
