So, I've not played #AstroBot but I'm glad that it's taken the Game of the Year award at the #VideoGameAwards.
As for Shadow of the Erdtree and Black Myth, both are really great games but I'm not sure they're even making my own personal top two of the year, so I'm not overly bothered that they 'missed out'.
Shadow especially felt like a lesser version of a game I played and loved two years ago, and Black Myth, for all it's fantastic individual moments has too many compromizes to be the years best game, at least in my opinion.
It's always nice to see something that isn't hyper violent getting some credit. Astro Bot is a game Santa is getting for my daughter, I can't wait to enjoy the game with her. We need more high quality family friendly games.
I really wanted Balatro to win simply because watching a small indie game kick the ass of all the big names would have been fantastic.
Have to say @LoadingReadyRun's co-stream makes this so much more enjoyable.
Matt is being freaking hilarious.
This drags on so long...
I killed Snoop Dogg in Fortnite last month

Not surprising that one. I think it's going to clean up tonight.

I would be all over this Shire game, but I don't like the visual style sadly.
