I’d Love to Change the World

On this day in 2013 the music world lost the great Alvin Lee. Never comfortable in the spotlight, he let his guitar do the talking.
“Tax the rich, feed the poor
‘Til there are no rich no more
I’d love to change the world
But I don’t know what to do
So I’ll leave it up to you”

A mini-documentary (14:35) which just rolled out, on the lightening fast guitar legend, Alvin Lee.
Some may recall him mostly from Woodstock ("Going Home"). Before & after then, "I'd Love to Change the World" and several other memorable songs were part of some unique studio albums by *10 Years After*.

Ten Years After - I'd Love to Change the World
#music #rock #OnTheRoadToFreedom #AlvinLee #MylonLeFevere
Title song from one of my favorite albums from the early 70's - On The Road To Freedom - featuring Alvin Lee (of Ten Years After), Mylon LeFevre, and a who's who of British rock stars including George Harrison and Steve Winwood. Well-written, well-recorded and very well played. The title song is one of Lee's best-ever compositions.
