HackadayDirk Hoffmann, known for the vAmiga emulator for macOS, has also written a program called RetroVisor for that operating system, which is designed to make a selected screen area appear as if it was displayed by a cathode ray tube - e.g. for the visually "too perfect" display of emulated Amiga games.
Marcus ‘ALB42’ Sackrow's desktop wiki MPW, whose content is written in Markdown, is now available in version 0.2. As the author describes in his blog, images can now be added, and a template directory has been added.

Following the beta version, Dirk Hoffmann has now released the final version 4.3 of his Amiga emulator "vAmiga" for macOS. The file system navigator now includes a boot command for managing boot blocks.

Hab ärgerlicher Weise nicht alle Fragen richtig, bin aber nicht unzufrieden (dafür, dass ich den Computer nie hatte und hauptsächlich aus der Happy Computer kannte - dank Emulatoren bin ich mittlerweile aber ziemlich gut damit vertraut).
Manche Fragen waren aber auch super abstrus - wie, bei welchem öffentlichen Anlass der Amiga prominent in Szene gesetzt wurde. Hä?!
Und bei dem Hickhack zwischen dem Atari-Team, was ihn entwickelt hat und wie er dann bei Commodore gelandet ist, hab ich noch nie so richtig durchgesehen - Frage dazu prompt falsch beantwortet. Wären mehr technische Fragen oder mehr als eine (gute) -ähem- applikationsspezifische Frage gekommen, wäre ich noch besser gewesen ;)
Jedenfalls: Beat this!

Next holiday quest: I have an #Amiga 1000, but no keyboard.
It expects firmware from a floppy - I used a serial connection to the Amiga 500 to write the floppy, now the A1000 boots, into Workbench, or into games.
But there is no keyboard..
The connector turns out to be RJ10. Got one, and osci shows the expected signals. Wanted to have a Raspi pico communicate at the keyboard side, but the Pico just handles 3.3V, yet the Amiga does 5V. Seems like I need a level shifter to convert 3.3V/5V.
The Assembly demo party has been held in Helsinki since 1992, and this year's edition took place last weekend. Two Amiga productions also placed in the "Oldskool Demo" category:
Fantavision was my first piece of software when I bought my Amiga back then. Before I even got any games.
Then it was red sector mega demo.... and I think Quest for the Time Bird was my first game.
