Saw a news item that there was another death to brain-eating amoeba in Florida. Instead of getting it from swimming in fresh water this person apparently used tap water in a nasal rinse (neti pot or similar). Apparently they didn’t read the instructions about boiling water before you do that. Important safety tip - Tap water ain’t sterile. #florida #amoeba
