A free and libre YouTube client that's a lot faster than YouTube on Chrome will ever be.
Also a way to manage subscriptions on YouTube without having an account (people are indeed slowly moving away from the Google botnet?) and FreeTube has neat features:
* No ads.
* A YouTube experience without Google tracking you using cookies and JavaScript (and slowing you down for not using Chrome).
* A UI which is a lot faster than the website.
* Being able to subscribe to people without having an account (as previously mentioned). Your subscriptions, watch history, and saved videos are contained locally.
Ps. Newpipe (from F-Droid) is similar and quite ideal for mobile.
