There seems to be consensus amongst first responders, that a SAM Splint is a super useful tool in the backpack to splint broken bones of any kind.
It is lightweight, super flexible, can be cut with scissors to use it for smaller things like fingers, etc. It easily fits in every backpack.

Today mine arrived to complete my first aid gear. I have chosen the 36" Large edition, which is considered the best size for all-round use (and as mentioned for the smaller things it can be cut as well).

The shoes are dialed in as I've been out running in them a bit. For the backpack it is good, even when I've yet to dial it in it is nice. Pack plus gear 20kg (2kg+18kg).

Great to see @HenryWCoeSP here on Masto. Always a favorite park of mine, and very unique, with over 200 miles of trails IIRC. The Backcountry Weekend events are especially good. I've hiked there often, mountain biked, and backpacked with friends and family.

At home, after development & co, I use these records for adding keywords & descriptions via #digiKam to the scanned raw files. For me, this way works.

The basic uses an estimate of 0.1 MET for each 2 lbs #backpack weight, whereas the advanced uses an updated (2017) version of Pandolf equation.
Most existing calculators only use the imperial system and do not share the MET, which means if one wanted to create a #workout e.g. in #FitoTrack, one still need to manually calculate it.
In the next version, will add the speed options of `mm:ss/km` and `mm:ss/mi`.
