Finished reading Stephen King's The Stand. Goddamn that was a good book. Over 1000 pages of slow burn, amazingly detailed story. If you're new to King, it's definitely not the first book I'd recommend, (that would be the Gunslinger) but it's well worth your time. Gonna be turning this one over in my head for a while.
It wasn't supposed to arrive until tomorrow but it came earlier tonight, YAY!
I LOVE the use of time in the new #stephenking book "Holly" - it reminds me in a way of #LouisePenny 's use of time, & the contrasts of freezing winter vs broiling summer, in "Glass Houses."

Happy HOLLY Day to all you fellow Constant Readers!! Mine's coming today
P.S. Supposedly the cover glows, but I haven't confirmed that yet
After ignoring #stephenking for my entire life I've read 4 books in a month and feel like a kid who just discovered Goosebumps again. Looking forward to becoming a #constantreader
@TitsLeroux@mas.to @WalkinDude78@mas.to Ah both of those are amazing choices. Being a #constantreader myself it is so hard to choose a favorite. It would be a toss-up between It (which scared me the most. Couldn't sleep with the curtains open for a year after reading, foolish 12 year old me) and the book that I find is the best written overall Rose Madder. But of course so many other titles are very close behind these. #stephenking
