#Quote "Uninformed, impulsive citizens driven by emotions (fear, rage, anxiety) instead of critical thinking."

💬 My comment: 💬
➡️ 1 - I like that #criticalthinking during all these things happening is the key point.
➡️ 2- And #shortreading / #shortdepth is the cause of a lot of wrong moves (plays into point #1 with emotions because people are not looking further up ahead and reacting for the short stuff).

⬇️ ALSO TO NOTE A GREAT LIST... ⬇️

Interference with connecting with loved ones"

Why does academic #reinforcementlearning focus on impractical problems like games? A lot of working #datascience and #machinelearning practitioners use oracle based contextual bandits to solve business problems. Often users don't even think they are doing reinforcement learning and they do it "exploration free"! I wish there was more research done on #contextual bandits...

"Apple says that during the first quarter of last year, 78 percent of searches in the App Store where people could have been shown #ads were from devices that had personalized ads turned off—the “conversion rate” for #advertisers is basically the same for personalized ads and #contextual ads, it says."
