A couple days of nonstop hardcore depression immediately followed by a couple days of decent feelings and nonstop creativity. I feel like this has happened before, too. I'm not bipolar, I don't have long episodes of mania. But I can't help think the depression and creativity are seriously directly related somehow.

I've been listening to "Life as No One Knows It: The Physics of Life's Emergence" by Sara Imari Walker on my daily walks now and I'm finding it very inspiring.

I had not really thought properly about how you could use human creations as a proof for consciousness and that leads to so many other thoughts about the subject... Minds are amazing and it does make sense that they are kind of the source of everything from buildings to tools to art etc.
