Lastly, the shitty Dollar Store in #Crosby #MN is trying to make employees PAY for what ppl shoplift.

These whole fuckstains scheduled a new employee to work alone and ppl stole some things & the manager tried to take that out of her paycheck. NO.

That is illegal, tell all your friends.

Who is teaching kids about their worker rights? No one? GAH.

The #FolkRidingBikes had a ride along the canal and over to Crosby last night.

Some went for a swim among the Anthony Gormley statues; some got food or a drink from the bus bar and street food containers.

On the way back we stopped off at the Lock and Quay in Bootle for a pint in their beer garden and listened to the primary school teachers celebrating their end-of-year with karaoke of varying levels of success.

From there we dropped down to the dock road to Bootle; then switched onto the canal up to Rimrose Valley Park and across to Crosby beach for the sunset.

We'd had a short stop to fix a puncture, so the bus bar had just closed when we got there.

Not to worry, we headed back to Bootle to the Lock & Quay for a pint, and to share bags of chips after H and N did a run to the chippy.

Haven't thought about that in decades. Didn't think about it when he passed. Why I remembered it now I can't imagine. Nice note he sent.

Such a great interview. I remember when they had just started and I saw them at the Filmore. I had sung harmonies, but these??? I think that harmonies can amaze and lift everyone and we have yet to hear all the combinations that, together with powerful narratives, can change hearts. #crosby #music #politics
