My father has (non-#Alzheimers based) #dementia and I see a LOT of my father's symptoms in T****:

Paranoia: "Everyone is out to get me." He loses stuff all the time due to his bad memory, and nothing is ever "lost"… it was "stolen" (see: election.)

Childlike "silliness" when he doesn't know what to do.

Quick to anger.

Mistrust: Trusts family members more & more ("Loyalty" supplants "trust".)

Can never admit he's wrong. He'll argue with me over the day-of-the-week.

He has it.

Everyone, including people living with #dementia, should be able to get care for #mentalhealth without stigma.
