2 drops of saline solution

Tonight's #aperitivo #aperitif is the Waterloo, from Difford's Guide.

60ml oude genever
15ml mandarin liqueur
5ml (one barspoon) strong herbal amaro

Stirr&Strain, espress an orange zest and discard, and garnish with a salted nut.

It is more an after dinner than an aperitif, but it's really good, if it happens you have a good mandarin liqueur from Corse!

60ml Havana Club 7y
15ml lime juice
10ml simple sirup

Shake&fineStrain in a chilled coupe and garnish with a lime wheel.

I love rum (any kind), I love Daiquiri, this one is so different from the classic one with unaged rum that is in a league of its own.
Highly recommend!

Back home early today and felt like something fancy*.
Oh f@#$ this turned out insanely delicious! (And gorgeous looking too)

Naked & Famous #Cocktail - from Joaquín Simó at Death & Co.
¾ oz each Aperol, yellow chartreuse, lime juice and mezcal ( * I even used private stash Oaxaca Tepextate that I never mix)

Need to take small sips, savor the looong flavors. Aaaah!

60ml Monkey 47 gin
15ml Carpano vermouth
3 dashes olive bitter

Stirr in a chilled mixing glass and strain in a chilled coupe. Garnish with a very good olive.

I've had two, nothing can beat the perfection of a great Martini.

So I made thyme syrup: equal parts sugar and water with (like maybe) 1tbsp of thyme. I used luke warm kettle water and then just left it for like 30 minutes.

Thyme goes with orange and obvs it would go with Screwdrivers (the cocktail).

Lime goes with oranges and lemons and like almost (maybe) but should I include it here?

Does lime pair with thyme well?

Tastes like stuffing fr XD
