In this case, my charging e-bike which apparently draws about 200W. Not much, but I don’t mind the slow charging as it cuts my power delivery to the net for a longer time - whereas washing machines and dishwashers are peak generators.

We'll, after about a decade of riding and enough kms to just about circumnavigate the continent of Australia, it's finally time to say goodbye to my trusty old folding electric bike. I'm currently trialing a cargo bike with built-in kids seat for school runs from Lug+Carrie & will probably buy refurbished soon. So if anyone in #Brisbane / #Meanjin is looking for an #eBike on the cheap, this one still goes quite well for its age and with a bit of tender care (new seat etc.) could be done up to be pretty decent. Anyway, let me know and share with anyone who might be interested. (Can include kids trailer or not).

The momentum may be waning a little bit, but we're still thrilled by all of the support we're receiving. If you can, please share the fundraiser to whatever social media you can - we only use Mastodon, so our reach is quite limited.
We now have enough support to put a deposit on a bike, which is fantastic news. The initial outlay for the deposit was the biggest obstacle that we needed to get past.

heise onlineDas Problem war übrigens ein verdrehter Magnetsensor. In 30 Sekunden behoben, wenn man es weiß. Wenn nicht führt es nass triefend vor Schweiß trefflich vor Augen, dass ich mit der Aussage "Ich komme auch ohne E zur Arbeit, aber nicht in einem vernünftigen Zustand" vollkommen Recht hatte. Zum Glück hatte ich in den ersten beiden Stunden die 11er, die nehmen das mit Humor. #ebike #ebikes

Me with my new vehicle. It's a Fiido D11 folding ebike and it's perfect for my car free lifestyle. I'm just back from visiting my parents in Waterford and, for the first time ever, I didn't need a lift or a taxi from the train station.
They live on the Dunmore road, which means a long climb to Ardkeen, then a steep hill down (I hit 45Kmph on the way down). The battery made going to and from the train easy and I was faster than a car over the whole journey. #cycling #cycleIreland #ebike

Mein Vater. Bin so stolz auf ihn. Er war fast verrückt vor Trauer geworden, hatte um sich rum alles vollgestellt mit Bildern seiner vor 6 Wochen verstorbenen Frau (die er bis zuletzt gepflegt hatte) und von meinem am Karfreitag gestorbenen Bruder 
. Aß zuwenig, zu kochen hatte er ganz aufgehört. Vor ein paar Tagen rief er mich an und sagte, er habe beschlossen, ins Leben zurückzukehren. Gestern hat er sich ein #eBike gekauft. Er hat mit 83 die Kurve gekriegt.
Ich freu mich so.
Heute war zum Tag der ARbeit mein #mdrza Tag Die erste Pendelfahrt des Monats und gleich auch die letzte für die nächsten drei Wochen.
Mo/Di Nachtdienst (das mache ich mit dem Auto) und dann Urlaub.
War heute sommerlich fast schon zu warm. Auf dem Rückweg wird es dann kühler und ich habe als es raus aufs Feld ging mit noch was übergezogen.
Und ich bin zum ersten Mal an drei Tagen hintereinander hin und Rückweg mit dem Rad gefahren, nicht Teilstrecke mit der Bahn #rad #ebike #WomenOnTheRide
#BikeStreak Day 31:
It is a busy day and a rainy day. But I managed to mostly miss the rain as I rode my #ebike to have coffee with my hockey team as usual. But getting there wasn't usual. Due to utility construction, park construction and road construction, I was forced to take three separate detours to what is normally a simple, mostly multiuse path route. The detours add one busy road crossing, while making another very safe as the busy road is closed just past the crossing.
