Needless to say, the Social Web Foundation and SWICG leadership have failed to respond to this news concerning their close partner. Do note that Meta's most forceful advocates on the Fedi have also been among those most insistent on a claimed need to impose algorithmic police-tech on this network - for the sake of the children.

SWF and SWICG leadership will, as in all previous cases, ignore the latest Meta atrocity. But we can expect them to surface soon with an edict that it is imperative for the Fedi to succumb to the new ROOST "trust and safety" surveillance ploy built by the likes of OpenAI and Google, while all the while enabling the internet's most prolific CSAM generator to influence the course of ActivityPub development

finally managed to get into the responses section on the fedipact cryptpad form that's been all fucked for like ever. downloaded a copy as a CSV

so now i can go thru this like nine month backlog of signatures soonsies and add em to the site

sorry for the huge delay! i was really depressed for a good while during the second half of last year and spent the beginning of this year moving out and living in a motel and all that

and the form was also just straight-up not working for a good while because it had too many signatures. the cryptpad peeps dm'd to say i should remake it because they've added improvements to forms since so i will after i get this all sorted out

I was under the impression is was next to impossible for a fediverse server to change it's domain name?

Have all the Threads follower relationships broken now they've changed theirs?

Won't affect anyone on this server of course, they were already blocked. Now their new domain is blocked too. If they move to yet another domain we'll block that as well.

Like many others of you on here, I'm just sad and tired of people migrating from Twitter to #Bluesky or #Threads, just to be predictably disappointed. Surprised pikachu face and all that.

Do so many people just lack critical thinking skills? Are they mentally lazy?

Even on the fediverse though, support for the #FediPact isn't exactly strong, with many instances just federating with known bad actors.

Imagine I posted so many WhatsApp statuses, but not even 1 USD from Meta could pay me.

Every piece of my content is mined, and they said Facebook and WhatsApp are not boring, while those social media users, I am one of them.

This is unfair. I'm sad.
