I’m hoping to build a cob house. Pre Columbian architecture (think Gaudi curves and nature elements with a #handmade feel) some of it is remarkably similar to some old #cob / #thatched roof homes in England. To hobbit in. I did help build part of a cob wall once… it was in a warehouse for a music studio. Prior to today it was going to be an A frame triangle/alpine style house… so who knows in the end what will happen. But I love the sculptural elements this will afford.

I got the notion to do a Baba Yaga hut block. Sketched something up I was reasonably happy with and made it happen. I’m still learning, and definitely see things I want to improve, but I do really like how this came out. #LinoCut #Art #Handmade

While I am rarely complimentary about the House of Lords (even if I do acknowledge that some of their revisionary work is worthwhile), they have played an important part in persuading the maladministration that legalising theft of intellectual resource might be a bad idea.

I say might, because the slippery bar stewards will be hoping to just slip it into the long grass in order to sell out UK creatives in the future.
