If you want them to use quiz for learning as much as testing, get the default behaviour changed to Interactive with multiple tries. I like cards that show off what makes a place special. Could be natural or human made.

But, heck, you know I’ll be happy with any postcards I get.

Nearly forgot to post my #PostcardSwap #hints .... I love getting mail, so anything you send will be appreciated.

If you want to write a message (you don't have to), here are some ideas:
Tell me about where you live (country or town). If I visited, what are the must do things as a tourist?
Do you have a book recommendation?
Are dogs or cats better? Justify your argument.
If you could meet famous person through history, who would it be and why? What would your first question to them be?

If you draw my name in the postcard swap then I would like any postcard of something that is important to you. Tell me why it's important to you if you like, but please choose something that matters to you, and resonates with your values, interests, or beliefs.

Actually, I think that #type #hints in the #function #signature are usually *better* than having them in #docstrings. Not only can they not get out of date / become wrong (without causing checking failures), static type checking is much easier this way.

She says yes, that's them.

Another tip from her: if you find something that they don't want to write on, like the ink/pigment doesn't stick, put down a layer of clear nail polish first and let it dry, then write on that.

And with or without that base layer, if you want to make doubly-triply-extra-sure that nothing will accidentally take the markings off, put another layer of polish on top of what you've written, after giving that time to dry.

here are some tips for those coming from other social platforms or who are new to the Fediverse:

* No algorithms here, it's all about boosts. Boosting guarantees maximum reach for a post and increases the chances of it being seen by as many people as possible. Favouriting, on the other hand, is a direct way to say thanks to the person who posted without giving any visibility advantage. In simple terms, boost means "Hey, everyone, check this out!" and favourite is a soft-spoken "Thank you!" to the content creator.
* Make good use of hashtags: they are the primary way users in the Fediverse discover content. When you post, for example, about #FreeBSD, using the relevant hashtag will give you the best chance to be "discovered" by more people. Many software platforms (like Mastodon, but not only) also allow following hashtags, and many users do so.
* There are hashtags for specific days/events. For instance, many share cat photos on Saturdays using the hashtag "Caturday". By following that hashtag, you'll see all the cat photos known to the server and posted with that hashtag.
* Interact! The best way to gain visibility and social connections is through interaction. No algorithm will promote you if you don't engage and post.

@TfTHacker I think I've shared this, but I use #Hints https://hints.so to post to #ObsidianMD . It's designed to post via Telegram, email, WhatsApp, etc , as a digital assistant. It will also post to #Notion #ClickUp and Google calendar. Only because I'm a little scared of messing up my vault by trying to open on iPhone since I'm not using the official sync. I also use #FleetingNotes in my browser. For some reason these remote posting options really fascinate me.

Anyone got #hints on how to butter a toasted #bagel ? If I go round in an arc with the butter knife it pushes the butter towards the hole like a snow plough. Or I can make many little scapes but it feels really inefficient.
