Надо составить список it-дел на лето, чтобы в сентябре понять, что успел, что нет. Порядок рандомный:

- Потрогать что-нибудь embeded уровнем повыше ардуино, сделать реально РАБОТАЮЩУЮ И ПОЛЕЗНУЮ штуку (Bluetooth receiver для колонки)

- Перестроить домашнюю инфру, а именно #nixos система на мейн пк, мониторинги, общие папки, впн доступ, семейная хранилка паролей

- Продолжить разбираться с #go, поделать #spectrumшиза

- Заработать денег, желательно мозгами, желательно чтобы хватило на ноут

- Потрогать #i2p и #yggdrassil, чтобы уже наконец-то скинуть @kirill треки (я помню!)

- Доделать тг бота для чата своего тгк

- Научить маму пользоваться нейронками для работы

- Зарайсить телефон (опционально)

- Сделать ещё 1 WiFi точку в квартире, ибо заебал слабый сигнал

- Потрогать #pfsense и всякое такое, чтобы сечь рекламу и прочую нечисть на роутере (возможно придётся купить роутер)

- Разобрать старые файлы, пережать плохо пожатые видосы (тут надо зашарить за #h264)

Важно: всё, что написано ниже — это моё личное мнение. Это не доказанный факт и не техническое расследование. Я просто делюсь своими мыслями о мессенджере, которому многие доверяют. Возможно, я в чём-то ошибаюсь, и это нормально. Это мнение — не истина в последней инстанции. Протокол у Signal считается надёжным. Многие криптографы его поддерживают. Формально — всё хорошо: используется сквозное шифрование, ключи меняются, реализация открыта. Но лично у меня есть сомнения. Не к криптографии, а к тому, как всё устроено в реальности.

The attack on the #I2P reseed servers of #diva (reseed.diva.exchange) failed again. It is a simple #DDoS attack coming from servers in #Turkmenistan. #diva remains online all the time - also for all potential I2P users in Turkmenistan.

The use of #I2P in Turkmenistan is illegal - which is silly. #diva is operated in #Switzerland - #freedom in all aspects, #privacy and #education are key principles.

Trying Ubuntu 25.04 in my daily driver, so far just missing some repos that don't have a version for Plucky yet (Puppet, Libreoffice, I2P). Other applications seem to work with their noble version (even Puppet)

emissary is an I2P router written in Rust.

With emissary, you can browse and host eepsites, use torrents (qBittorrent and I2PSnark tested), read and send email, and chat on Irc2P. Currently it’s closer to i2pd in that it doesn’t include bundled applications, apart from an optional (and ugly) router UI. However, I hope that in the future it will provide an experience similar to that of the official implementation.

There are also lots of things missing. SSU2 is very experimental (only tested locally) and bandwidth usage can only be controlled by limiting the number of transit tunnels. All of these will be fixed in the future.

If you’re a Rust programmer interested in contributing, there are plenty of easy tasks to get started with.

I was curious about ZeroNet again today. ZeroNet was a #P2P web project from the 2010s along similar lines to I2P (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I2P) and #Tor hidden services. The idea of hosting dynamic webpages in a completely P2P fashion, like torrents, remains super cool and appealing to me. In fact, at one point the #BitTorrent company had a similar proposal (https://www.bittorrent.com/blog/2014/12/10/project-maelstrom-the-internet-we-build-next/).

The ZeroNet website (https://zeronet.io/) is still up, but the project hasn't been updated in five years as per the GitHub repo (https://github.com/HelloZeroNet/ZeroNet). Someone was maintaining a fork at some point, and at other times I heard that ZeroNet was (now?) insecure, although I know no details. Certainly anything P2P isn't anonymous by default.

I found this question (https://github.com/HelloZeroNet/ZeroNet/issues/2749) about the creator of ZeroNet. Disturbingly, this article (https://www.newsbtc.com/news/sam-maloney-creator-of-morphis-and-dpush-shot-dead-by-london-police/) about a different developer killed by the police under unusual circumstances was shared.

My impression was that ZeroNet actually worked (works?) to some extent. Why aren't projects like this being funded? We need censorship-resistant ways of communicating online, after all.
