So…it’s Arab American Heritage Month. We’re already three weeks in, but I wanted to write about it all the same.

This feels especially important right now, given Israel’s genocide against Palestinians.

I'd honestly like someone to elaborate on this, because I'm hearing tons of people around me (good, kind people) using the term to mean "stupid, silly", and I've heard absolutely nobody use it in an ableist meaning.
