I had a pretty awesome Father's Day weekend. Really, just great stuff all around.

Ran the Ricky Byrdsong Memorial Race Against Hate 5K in my hometown of Evanston, Illinois, USA with my sister and niece. Weather was perfect and I'm relatively content with my 32:17 finish time.

Took the 9yo to Brickworld Chicago so we could geek out over cool #Lego stuff. Look up "Lego Great Ball Contraption" on YouTube. We could watch that thing for HOURS.

In the early 2000s, on a farm northeast of Paso de Indios, Chubut Province, Argentina, large theropod bones were found.

In 2005, Fernando E. Novas, Silvina de Valais, Pat Vickers-Rich, and Tom Rich formally described Tyrannotitan.

Since the July of 2022, a replica was made and is now on roaming display with the "Dinosaurs of Patagonia" fossil display. It was last on display in Auckland in 2025. No new displays have been announced.
