It's the second day of #MC2023. Especially as an early career scientist, you should not miss our #yDGE #symposium later this evening at 18:15 (6:15 pm) in the room vanadium at darmstadtium.
Ph.D. student and expert talks
Delighted to be at #MC2023 in very sunny Darmstadt. Though sadly we can't claim to have come quite as far as our badges suggest: SPTLabtech is based in the rather less famous Melbourn, UK! #cryoem #structuralbiology
Time flies by. One year ago, the DGE Young Microscopists (yDGE) were founded. In the first year, we set up a website www.ydge.de,
hosted our first social events and planned the first yDGE conference contribution
(check out https://www.microscopy-conference.de/2/programme/scientific-programme WS 3).

Tech toot! Did you know that 2023 is The Year of the Microcontroller? No, you didn't unless you lived in my house for the last five months. I guess this is sort of like a New Year's resolution. Here's the landing page for the concept and future projects:

In his position as the Life Sciences Co-Chair Moritz participates in the organization of the #yDGE symposium at the #MC2023. Furthermore, he operates the Twitter-account.
He is currently in his second year as a doctoral candidate at the institute of cell biology at the Universität Bayreuth, where he mainly works with transmission #electronmicroscopy. He is a fan of podcasts and his most valuable gadget is his sandwich-maker.
