> A no-holds-barred, punch-in-the-face first feature. Although its finale underwhelms, the film’s punk, menacing, anything-can-happen energy lingers from beginning to end thanks to a brilliant cast, a fearless mise en scene, some punchy editing, and Raoul Coutards’ perfect frames. Excellent set and costume design as well.

¿La initimidad es fácil y la complicamos o es ardua y la reducimos para poder asirla? Contexto y circunstancias.

El asunto es nebuloso, se deja agarrar para, de seguido, comenzar a escapársenos. Cómo abordarlo.

En Queer hay dos vías, la descriptiva y la fantasía (que no realismo mágico). Y, aun así, a Kuritzkes y Guadagnino se les escapa también. <<No soy marica, soy incorpóreo.>>

En un filme tan homomasculino, llama la atención el título, ¿alude a una parte dentro del todo o lo homo se come, de nuevo, lo desviade? Si bien es cierto que Eugene suelta trazas bi. También resaltan los cuerpos de los personajes, cuyos pechos piden su propio código postal. O lo de Omar Apollo. Con la excepción de Schwartzman, secundario que aporta más de lo que parece, proporciona un anclaje, como el Ship Ahoy (love).

Cómo tener intimidad cuándo apenas se puede ser une misme en la calle, si solo te relacionas con libertad entre las discretas sombras. Fabuloso plano de Craig con New Order -Leave me alone- de fondo, mi favorito junto al primer encuentro con Eugene tras vomitar este, donde reproduce una cara de deseo desbordante.

Y eso hace con el indeciso/reacio Eugene, con el que quiere mucho más, incluso entrar en su mente por telepatía, porque el cuerpo es insuficiente, siempre se acaba muy pronto.

Con esa obsesión, llega el epílogo de ayahuasca y selva, de ser dos para ser uno. De visiones -con efectos especiales mejorables-, yo creo que disociaciones, lynchianas, y luego saltamos (literal) en el tiempo buscando desaforadamente paliar la soledad, esa era la vaina.
