Con i miei tempi, con le mie disponibilità e con la mia capacità/voglia sto abbandonando i servizi online per riprendere in mano la situazione.

Ho creato un account email sull'hosting del mio sito e man mano andrò sostituendo l'email di #gmail nei vari account.

Cancellato account #Feedly e l'ho sostituito con l'app #News di #Nextcloud su mio #cloud.

Cancellato account #Podurama per ascoltare anche i podcast con Nextcloud.

Ho messo su #Navidrome e eliminerò #Spotify entro la fine dell'anno.

Ich nehme mein Lob für die #Nextcloud App wieder zurück.
Ja, bei großen Dateien ist sie erheblich schneller als webdav.
Aber bei vielen kleinen Dateien, wird es elends langsam.

Warum läuft das nicht parallel?

J'ai une question pour une asso que j'accompagne : on a quoi comme diff entre #nextcloud et #mattermost ?

J'utilise nextcloud en solo, je vois bien l'usage en équipe et ça me semble plutot centré sur les features stockage/agenda etc avec en plus de quoi discuter, et mattermost a l'air de se centrer sur les discussion d'abord, mais un éclairage serait pas de refus !

Le reboost va aider une asso très sympa d'accueil de jeunesse internationale

J'ai découvert il y a peu @domainepublic, une ASBL (Association Sans But Lucratif), équivalent de nos associations loi 1901 . C'est un CHATONS belge . Ils font plein de belles choses avec les logiciels libres : #Nextcloud, #BigBlueButton, #Mattermost, #PeerTube…

Nyt on pilviboksi.fi -tunnus tehty. Rekisteröinti sujui ihan ongelmitta. Otin 100 gigasen version kannatuksen vuoksi, vaikka 20 olisi varmaan omaan käyttöön piisannut hyvin.

Seuraavaksi voisi alkaa siirtämään datoja googlesta sinne..

Ein Backup aller Fotos, denn diese können im Notfall von keiner Versicherung ersetzt werden. Natürlich in einer #nextcloud und zusätzlich durch #cryptomator verschlüsselt, da ich dem Cloudanbieter nicht vertraue.

Erster Eindruck: Deutlich schneller als #Nextcloud !
(Ich habe via Webdav innerhalb von wenigen Minuten mehrere GB übertragen. Nextcloud hat dafür einen ganzen Tag gebraucht.)

Allerdings ist es noch nicht wirklich benutzbar, bis es einen mobilen Client gibt.

Der Owncloud-Client scheint nicht zu funktionieren. Ein Loginversuch scheitert mit 400.

Faszinierend, dass Markdown-Bearbeitung im Plaintext im #nextcloud-Editor offenbar eine so große Herausforderung darstellt (https://github.com/nextcloud/text/issues/123). Die Bearbeitung von Markdown-Dateien mit diesem WYSIWYG finde ich recht mühsam ...

Ich habe gestern meine #NextCloud bei #hosting.de eingerichtet. Eigene Domain, unter der meine Cloud erreichbar ist und das Beste ist, dass meine Daten ausschließlich in Rechenzentren in Deutschland liegen! #unplugtrump
Jetzt habe ich meine Daten überall synchron dabei, Kalender, Adressbuch, Notizen, Aufgaben und Lesezeichen - Perfekt!
Und als es ein Problem gab, hat mir der hosting.de Service am Sonntag (!!!) geholfen - Danke an das Team! Ein zufriedener Kunde.

EDIT: It magically started working right after I posted this.

I am struggling to switch from Google Calendar to Nextcloud calendar. I exported my Google Calendar data as an .ics file. Then I went to Nextcloud (web client), clicked on the Calendar tab, clicked settings, clicked "import calendar," and uploaded my data...

and then nothing happened. None of my events showed up on my Nextcloud calendar.

How do I fix this? I wanna leave Google Calendar.

#Nextcloud still won't send invites to Brandon's gmail account. I posted the issue on the Nextcloud Forums earlier this week and no one has replied.

Shared calendars are such a PITA overall when trying to bridge multiple platforms because CalDAV and Google and Apple and everyone uses their own implementation.

So I am wondering if there is a good way to access my Nextcloud share without needing to use the desktop app. In Gentoo qtwebengine is a dependency and that takes forever to compile. Tried the WevDAV connection exactly once in Thunar and wasn't sure why it didn't stay an option afterwards.

Thoughts?

Ich setze (selbst gehostete) #Nextcloud- und #CryptPad-Instanzen dafür ein.

CryptPad finde ich angenehmer für das kollaborative Texten, hat aber durch seinen anderen Aufbau eine höhere Eintrittsschwelle.

Okay, wenn ich es schaffe, mache ich an diesem Wochenende den Artikel zu Filen fertig.

Die Tests sind gut verlaufen. Und Filen bietet doch eine Reihe von Möglichkeiten, die man bei anderen Clouds nicht findet.

Eine gute Alternative, wenn man gerade in diesen Zeiten von US-Clouds Abschied nehmen möchte :-)

(Auf den Unterschied zur Nextcloud werde ich auch etwas eingehen.)
