How do I make an animated .GIF from a video clip?!?!
I want a program that installs locally on my PC.
Other than #Photoshop this appears to be impossible. EVERYTHING I find is about using some online website or an app on the phone.
Apparently at one time you could use #GIMP by installing GAP (Gimp Animation Package) and that would allow for video clips but that has not been maintained for some time.
It's our civic duty to be informed. It's more important than ever to checkout books about Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility.

Regardless what you think of AI / OpenAI etc. , the possibilities with image generation within GPT-4o are really a gamechanger for creating images, graphics for presentations, leaflets and other publications. For many things you needed photoshop you now only need ChatGPT.

My goal wasn't to make a perfect replacement for these icons, I was doodling with the system to see how it performs different tasks. The final version still needs some Photoshop to polish the pixels. These icons are the best looking ones, some were really bad or I didn't achieve my goal at all.
It's cool that it faked LeBron James signature and others.

#Phind: понял всё с точностью до наоборот, сказал, что такой скрипт поставляется в комплекте (к последней версии, видимо), дал ссылку на Ютуп с нужной временной меткой (там девочка объясняет, как в шопе скрипты запускать), и как второй вариант — написал какой-то кусок кода, делающий не то.
#Claude, #Mistral: идею поняли, код написали, но не учли нюанс, что фотожоп может рулить слоями только в app.activeDocument, поэтому вываливается ошибка.
#Perplexity: поняла правильно, написала с каментами на русском и alert'ами уведомлений. Поменял только в цикле i++ на i--, чтобы было совсем логично и по красоте.
#ChatGPT: аналогично, код рабочий но чересчур избыточный. На вопрос «зачем» ответила, что, дескать, для перестраховки и упрощения дальнейшего раширения. После этого дала короткий вариант.
Выводов не будет, но пару моментов для себя отметил:
LLM-ки умеют в объектную модель адобовских продуктов; это хорошо.
Знать питон и жабаскрипт хотя бы на уровне «читаю по слогам» — это необходимо.
