Something I appreciate about #Portland, Oregon beyond the creative, progressive, anti-corporatism vibe: the old-fashioned sirens used on fire trucks. This means that there's a very clear difference between "here comes help" (fire department siren) and "here comes senseless violence" (police department siren).
