After I #graduate from my #astrophysics #masters #program next #year, I'm going to take a #GapYear to #improve my #resume for #applications to #PhD programs. Probably I would be doing an #internship, and given the #Trump #cuts here in the #USA, there aren't many #opportunities available.
I've heard that #France is picking up some of the slack. I'm #wondering if I should go, what I should do to #prepare, and where else there would be opportunities for me. Does anyone have #advice?

Polls that show a decisive victory for your preferred #leader or #party can get people thinking that they don't need to #vote -- because there are enough voters to assure victory.
Alternately, polls can discourage voters by convincing them the other party is assured victory.

People aren't doing anything bc most of them have no idea how bad it's getting bc "I can't watch the news or listen to the madness." So they are just carrying on like it's 2014. They aren't thinking ahead in a real way, like at all. Some of y'all really think that when you turn on the sink faucet, that there is always going to be water there. Y'all think that there's going to be groceries on the store shelves. Y'all still depending on that social security you paid into for 30 years to survive into old age.
