@cloud_manul @nixCraft had #RedHat not killed #CentOS8, I might've even migrated a former employer/client to #RHEL8 but given their asshole moves, I pivoted them to @ubuntu / #UbuntuLTS instead...

The constant battle to keep #RHEL8 working in a production environment this last years has taken its toll.

I wish I could convince the powers that be to switch to #SUSE.

We are currently using #NFS for storage on our #k8s cluster. We are testing #OpenEBS now.

Because you mentioned many issues with #OpenEBS and none with #Longhorn , I think we need to take another look at #Longhorn and #Rancher.

Currently using #RHEL8

I'm thinking I need a pull through cache for my home #kubernetes cluster, to speed up any restarts/redeployments of apps across the cluster. I'm using #rhel8 and #podman

Does anyone have any suggestions? In cluster would be nice, but not critical. Leaning towards just JFrog CR just because of using Artifactory in the past.

I’m looking into learning RHEL to try and get a position providing support for it in an enterprise with ~7,000 employees. If anybody has any tips on learning material, specific subjects I should learn, or if you think it’s a waste of my time, then please let me know. #rhel8 #rhel #linux

So that's how #IBM thinks it'll make even more business with #GNU/#Linux.

I'm testing #CentOS #Stream and it is actually quite cool. But killing of the 1:1 rebuild from #RHEL8 sources is a mistake IMHO. A big mistake - at least if #RedHat won't provide a much more open access to the original #RHEL itself.
