Hey Mike, danke für deine Arbeit und dein Engagement. Darum verweise ich auch immer auf deinen Blog. Sehr gerne nutze ich @threemaapp und das seit es #Threema gibt. Daneben aber auch @signalapp per @mollyim und seit geraumer Zeit #RocketChat. Selbst bin ich nur froh um jeden der Meta verlässt und dabei nicht zu Telegram geht.

Related to several subjective performance checkpoints, my "upgrade" from the #Pixel4a (stock ROM) to the #Pixel8 (#GrapheneOS) was actually a downgrade.

E.g., anything that scans the internal storage (#DiskUsage app) is slower. Panning the map in #OsmAnd+ is *much* slower. Starting up #RocketChat app is taking ages in comparison.

I really wonder what has gone wrong here.

Мессенджер Revolt После блокировки Discord в РФ люди начали искать варианты решения проблемы. Легально это можно сделать двумя способами: Перейти на альтернативный мессенджер с централизованным управлением от сторонней компании (TeamSpeak, Skype и др.). Правда, некоторые аналоги Discord уже упали под нагрузкой и вынуждены ограничить доступ пользователям из РФ, как Guilded . Поднять собственный сервер. Второй вариант кажется наиболее надёжным с учётом будущих блокировок. Ведь любой мессенджер из первого пункта может сам упасть или отказать в доступе с территории РФ, или его тоже внесут в чёрный список. В итоге остаётся только свой сервер. Желательно в локальной сети или хотя бы на виртуальном хостинге.

There are still some issues and shortcomings, but our staff can now at least join some unencrypted groups in Matrix through their company #RocketChat clients and can also have 1:1 conversations with matrix users.
