"How should a mystic conduct oneself in everyday life? This question is both simple and complex. Being a mystic is to be aware of and shoulder one’s responsibilities in one’s family life, working life, and spiritual life. A thinking, active, responsible mystic does not feed on what is negative and unhealthy. A mystic does not make hasty judgments, and does not condemn without having tried to understand the why and the how of things and events. The mystic’s attitude is an open one, respecting everyone’s right to be different and to exercise freedom of expression. A mystic is able to give assistance, bring calm, and speak in a compassionate manner to whoever is in need. A mystic accepts philosophically – without becoming disenchanted – the tests that are experienced during one's life: for a mystic is not exempt from lessons, we just find it a little bit easier to learn them." Christian Bernard

"As mystics throughout time have found, the road to discovery, to peace and enlightenment is a journey into Self. There is more to our conscious being than we realize and it is from within that we find the keys that unlock our inner wisdom. It is from within that we can connect with the source of knowledge that lies beyond the limits of our five senses."

Bob's Pages of Travel, Linux, Cybersecurity, and More"No one is free whose mind is not like a door with a double-hinge swinging outward to release their own ideas, and inward to receive the worthy thoughts of others." Ralph M. Lewis
An ancient Rosicrucian adage says, “It is from ignorance and ignorance alone that humans must free themselves.” Ignorance is at the origin of the worst things a person can do to oneself, to others, and to one’s environment. It is also the source of different superstitions that demean humanity and prevent it from finding complete fulfillment. Therefore give a spiritual direction to your life. Do not just be a living thing, be a living soul." Rosicrucian Manuscript
"Peace manifests externally but begins internally--that is, in the thinking, idealism, and mental discipline of each individual. Peace must begin with the individual and work outward.” Ralph M. Lewis
“Despite the trials and tribulations of life, always consider life the most precious gift the Cosmic ever granted human beings, because it is the medium of our spiritual evolution and the source of the happiness we seek. Furthermore, regard your body as the temple of your soul, and take great care of it.” Rose + Croix Code of Life
"We know that the aim of all human beings is to perfect ourselves; to become better people. Therefore, constantly endeavor to awaken and express the virtues of the soul that animates you. In doing so, you will contribute to your own evolution while serving the cause of humanity." Rosicrucian Manuscript
"The mystic uses their intuition a great deal, and endeavors to see into the future and to look beyond appearances. She or he reads others’ souls and hearts. A mystic does everything they can to rise up above suffering and despair; they go past the clouds and so glimpse the Sun; being both on their own and connected to the great All, they never forget that to accomplish great things we must be able to do small ones perfectly. The mystic knows that duty well carried out is an act of love and of service; and that for the service to have its full meaning, it must be selfless. It must be a gift of oneself to others, joyously agreed to, and not undergone as a great sacrifice. Love and giving should not be likened to suffering and renunciation, quite the reverse: were this the case, it would no longer be a question of love, but of masochistic behavior. True service only gives rise to good feelings, and expects nothing in return." Christian Bernard
"The mystic knows only too well the value and danger, the goodness and the evil, that lies in the power of mentally creating. We know that if we hold in our minds a picture and give it the vibrations of living possibility, and if we prophetically proclaim that it is to be or will be, we bring it about; we create it in the world of actuality, by transferring it from the world of reality to material manifestation. We know that as each hour of the day passes, the things which we have held in our imagination and which we now allow to pass into the chamber of mental alchemy are likely to be crystallized immediately in earthly form. We must, therefore, be pure minded. We must be pure and holy in our imaginary concepts. We must keep the chamber of mental alchemy so clear and so wholesome and of such a high standard that no evil thought, no evil admission, no unholy concept of our earthly imagination may take form there and grow and be born in the world of actuality." H. Spencer Lewis
"Mysticism teaches cosmic laws and principles by which we are brought into closer consciousness of our divine power. The mystical experience of union with the One imposes upon the mystic a moral obligation — to use this knowledge for the welfare of others." Rosicrucian Manuscript
"If you would know a mystic, do not confine your search to monasteries and temples, but look also on the highways and byways, in towns, hamlets, and in the hustle and bustle of the great cosmopolitan centers of the world. When you find someone who is industrious, studious, compassionate, loved by friends, and neighbors, tolerant in religious views, and who can point out to you the magnificence and efficacy of God in the simplest of things, you have found a mystic. With these qualities, whether one is attired in sacerdotal robe or in the overalls of a mechanic, one is none the less a mystic." Ralph M. Lewis
"It does not matter what you believe; it is the actions you take based on those beliefs that matters."
H. Spencer Lewis
"The first step is to control and order our thinking. Too many of our failures yesterday were self-created by our own negative thinking. Sooner or later we are going to have to realize and accept that fact. The unhappy consequences of our own negative thinking are going to be presented in our lives repeatedly until finally we realize that we are punishing ourselves. Then we will begin to think positively always and our lives will begin to change. This is nature's way of teaching. It is simply a matter of will to control our thinking. It is just as easy to think that we shall succeed as to think that we shall fail. It is no more difficult to think that we will feel better than to think that we shall decline and feel worse. We need simply to decide whether to expect happiness and good things today, or unhappiness and disappointing experiences. Remember, we create, whether we like it or not!" Rosicrucian Manuscript
"Natural Law is that set of laws decreed in “the beginning” by the Divine Mind as the working basis of all creation and without which no manifestation can occur and exist. It is universal in scope and manner of operation, simple and direct. Natural Law is always constructive even when it seems indisputably destructive. It is the expression or manifestation of Cosmic Energy and order that humanity is able to discern. There is no such thing as supernatural law. There is nothing more divine than nature, nothing super beyond the natural. The greatest of miracles are not the result of some supernatural law, but of natural law." Rosicrucian Manuscript

The Brotherhood of the Snake or Brotherhood of the Serpent is a supposedly ancient secret society, linked in with a varied of other myths including extraterrestrials controlling human affairs, ancient astronauts, ancient Egyptian and Mesopotamian mythology, theories about the secret meanings of the Pyramids, alleged pre-Jewish motifs in the Bible, and up to #Rosicrucianism, the Knights Templar, #freemasonry, and the #Illuminati of Adam Weishaupt. That's quite a long list, but the Brotherhood of the Snake functions as a kind of grand unified conspiracy theory linking almost everything in a long lineage of secret history from the ancient Middle East through the Egyptians and every secret society you've heard of, possibly right up to our current reptilian overlords.
