Gleich remote #BeamlineLeben: eine andere Gruppe kommt an unser 3D-Röntgenmikroskop: Ivan aus der #Coherent #XRay #Scattering and Imaging Group @DESY #Synchrotron . Es soll wohl seine letzte Messzeit werden – ein würdiger Abschied an der #GINIX.

Laut historischen Aufzeichnungen war er schon im Juni 2012 / run 11 an unserem Experiment, gleich starten wir für ihn den run 126.

Hey,
In :blender: one can use geo-nodes to scatter stuff.

The problem is to apply the modifier, i.e. on export, all those scattered instances turn into geometry - i.e. they are not shared/linked data.

On the :godot: side, I am hacking a plugin to try detect any clue that can help me spot when a scatter is coming in - i.e. I want to capture the transforms of each instance and the mesh data once. So I can make a multimesh.

any ideas?

Their diffuse reflectance was approximately 30% higher than any previously measured feather. This intense reflectance is the result of incoherent light scattering from a disordered nanostructure composed of keratin and air within the barb rami"
