It occurs to me that 'AI' is the tech entrepreneur analogue to 'Trickle Down Economics' for wealthy scions in government. It's not a legitimate thing, but getting most people to believe it is helps those currently holding the reins of power consolidated their positions at the cost of everyone else. I think it's mostly a fraud.

The Offspring have so many references to The Lord Of The Flies in their songs and a year ago I read that book. But couldn't really grasp what there is much about it. Now I realize.

It depicts very well how thin our layer of civilization is. Looking at todays world it is as if planet Earth crashed on that lonely remote island, without any adult. The likes of Trump, Putin, Xinping crashed the conch shell and run the populace into madness.

#showerthought what if there is a search engine for documentations from all tech we use like elasticsearch lisp rust you name it. Wouldnt that be great one page all documentation agregated and linked ? #development sort of like #dash or #zeal but more advanced.

Just a little wakeup call for all the #web #developer s out there. Here we are 2025 with just one browser again its called chrome and an industry lead by big tech that seems to follow its own agenda.

Do we really want to have it that way that one single company can integrate a backdoor into your browser to get data out of your systems?

Or should we step back into a simpler web with little tech involved and make it possible to create new systems that could cope with the web? Cause right now i don't see anything that could be implemented in time to replicate "the state of the art". #showerthought

Just also think about what we achived in the past 10 years in the web. We went from server side pages to single page apps back to server side pages based on single page frameworks.

What if not the webstandard changes but the tools around it. Like not throwing a bunch of js into websites but adding native components. Would it change the overall appearal of the web? Isn't the flat design trend and stuff we see right now exactly that a bunch of standards done a thousand times? #showerthought

It is interesting how dogmatic our thinking is. If I imagine myself as a person, my awareness. I have a set of senses, and through them I receive streams of information through time.. timelines. And I do social networking my entire life, since birth. Yet in no way does my world look anything like #Xitter, or even #Mastodon for that matter.
