#GitHub, like any public platform that allows to store data, can be #abused for malicious use.

Whilst GitHub doesn't ban #malware per-se, it shure as hell bans the use of GitHub to distribute and facilitate it or otherwise cause harm, damages and liabilities for GitHub, 3rd parties and other users as per their #ToS.

They do also #scan for #KnownMalware & #DMCA #violations in a #ContentID / #signature/#checksum-based #scanning type to prevent blatant #abuse by #Skiddies.

Just had to sign a cheque and realised that I sign my name so infrequently that it doesn't come naturally anymore and I write so infrequently that my handwriting is now highly variable.

There was a time I was forever signing documents, cheques, or card stubs, but it's so rare now that I wonder if it actually has any security value anymore?

It's funny how #open #opensource tech bro from #linux or #foss always cry when #OS do add #cryptographic #security to prevent the run of #unsigned application.

They miss a point their #freedom to not sign it generate an easy way to let #ransomware and other #malware come in.

Appened once #apple first added #secureboot, appened when they #required #signature, appened when #microsoft added secureboot, appened when micorosft added software signature, appened when #browser required #signature of their #extension, appen now that apple make more difficult to bypass this signature requirement.

So if your #company use software made by these people #move to something else, it's often the same people that moved out of #github to not enable #2FA.
