I have a "snippet" code

which produces a specific type of post "in reply to" with just an URL embedded.

I assume that the code calls some API function and can pass some parameters to it.
Please somebody point me to a resource where I could learn how to create a post with a format of my choice, automatically embedding, say, an original title, header picture, and lead/abstract.

The use case is to aggregate singular posts into our climate infokiosk at #SPINKa

Man had always been an explorer. Across centuries and millennia there had always been a drive to head over the next hill. As man started looking to the stars and being able to launch himself into the vast abyss there were ideas of leaving this world.

Some of the first attempts to escape our parent star system were crude, much like our first attempts to get to orbit. We hollowed out large chunks of rock and fitted nuclear reactors for power and heat while building gardens for air and food.

it took a lot less power to escape the solar system then to head deeper in. So with some work and the help of gravity we sent large chunks of rock filled with people on their way.

it was always a known possibility that we might break the light barrier long before any of those islands of stone and technology reached their intended destinations. So tracks were kept. Projected locations estimated.

Some of them, the ones pointed to our closest stars, made the trip without any problems. Proxima Centari III was well on its way to being an established sustainable colony by the time the generations of explorers reached the system of Epsilon Eridani.

All in all within the span of five hundred years we had established colonies on ten systems including Procyon, Wolf 359, Barnard's Star, Sirius, and others.

from each system eventually they did the same as those who had left Earth, found a suitable rock, built appropriate facilities, and targeted another system.

It wasn't the fastest way, but it was the beginning.
