I haven't watched the Section 31 movie yet (I will this weekend), but it's really bought out the worst of our fandom. It's shocking how many Trekkies on the Fediverse are are just not nice people at all. Having an opinion on if you like a movie or not is one thing, but calling for resignations, cursing people out, and being generally un-effing-pleasant is another.

It's a sad day to be a Trekkie, but not for the reason these people are talking about.

Continuing my #StartTrek TNG rewatch. In season 2, episode 4 (”The Outrageous Okona”), Picard has a three-way video call on the bridge of the Enterprise. He immediately decides that ”communicating like this is very distracting” and beams everyone aboard.

No Teams/Zoom in the 24th century. Now there’s a Picard management tip.
