I still remember how disappointing #StreetFighter on the #Commodore64 was. It’s even more incredible to see new versions of games like #Toki or Street Fighter now. They look so much better, play better, and are still fun. Back then, it felt like the issues were all due to hardware limitations. Today, those limits are being overcome.

The Crested ibis, or Toki, is a bird that went extinct about 40 years ago on Japan’s Sado Island.

Later, seven Toki were discovered in China. And thanks to conservation efforts, there are now over 500 Tokis sharing rice and land with the people of Sado. Bravo!

First, Toki was very challenging for a little kid, but it was one of my favorite games in my collection. It provided that challenge but without being impossible to play.

Simpsons Bart vs. the Space Mutants was just a game that all my friends gravitated towards since it was of a character everyone knows. I never really got into this game, but my friends did.
