Well that was a week. #Internet went out on #Friday & it took all day to get it back. Then, joy of joys the #power went out for rather a long time on #Saturday. #SSE #Electrics haven't explain why yet but dinner was ruined. Fortunately we have a few #solar #lights, #torches, #candles and #radio. However, no #station gives important local information in the evening anymore. It was too #cold to bother getting the #camping #stove out so we had #cereal for #dinner. Felt lucky to have what we have.

what really surprised me is that there is no backlash. i would have expected that the people who ran completely brainless into the syringe would now storm the ministries with #pitchforks and #torches.

so far I'm wrong about that. the "#sunk #cost #fallacy" seems to be very strong in these people.

Most are from my teenage years. I didn’t really start listening to albums until then. My music taste has definitely changed, but some of these I still love to this day!

Juggling torches is difficult because, unlike a staff or a Samoan fireknife, a torch only has fire on one end -- so, in the dark, you can't tell where the handle is.
