O formato que vislumbrou para padronização de diretório comprimido contendo todo o conteúdo vai ao encontro do que acabei pensando também. Facilita sua troca entre as pessoas, enquanto ainda pode ser colocado, assim mesmo ou "explodido", em servidores HTTP.
Concordo que isso com #Markdown não necessariamente substituiria as práticas da #Web em si como chegou até aqui, já que elas são movidas por publicidade com tal inchaço desproporcional do não-conteúdo atual, como bem citou.
Realmente podemos simplificar a vida de quem apenas quer ler ou escrever texto com ou sem imagens. Deixemos a formatação "final" para editores que transformarão posteriormente esse conteúdo em um livro, parte de um periódico impresso, ou de um sítio Web maior. Assim como foi, um dia, o objetivo de HTML com CSS, antes da explosão de JavaScript.
Markdown (Unicode) acompanhado das possíveis imagens, desde que estas sejam em formatos abertos, é algo tão mais simples que nem precisa ser renderizado para continuar sendo inteligível. Portanto parece-me melhor ainda que ODT, PDF/A ou o que seja, tanto para ser redigido quanto até mesmo para preservação do conteúdo produzido atualmente, se não usamos mais tanto papel nem temos tanta necessidade, portanto, de seguir sua representação. O Markdown pode até facilitar a dispensa de telas para seu consumo, havendo disponibilidade de TTS e a descrição das imagens.

There are a number of useful little functions in node:util besides util.inspect() that I’m only just familiarising myself with after admittedly rolling my own versions for a number of them. Hmm, should’ve read through this documentation page more carefully sooner.
e.g., util.deprecate(), util.diff(), util.debugLog(), util.isDeepStrictEqual(), etc.
New Kitten release
• Fixes #236¹: The data preview pages in Kitten’s settings how handle circular references in the deserialised data (which may contain your custom classes if that’s what you were persisting in the database).
PS. Those pages are very rudimentary at the moment and are good for getting quick visual overview of the data you’re persisting. For a fully interactive view, use Kitten’s interactive shell (REPL)² to explore your data until I’ve had a chance to implement a more comprehensive visual interface.
PPS. You persist data in Kitten using the built-in JavaScript Database (JSDB)³ (Or, of course, you can install and use any other database.)
