I woke up to a number of disturbing messages from HCW friends. One MD lost a “healthy” pediatric patient (7 yrs old) to an unknown stomach virus.
Said the ER staff is “traumatized.”
Wrote: “The news is not covering any of what we’re witnessing— @CDCDirector@twitter.com has failed us.”

I can't even read "CDC" or "Walensky" without a blood pressure spike anymore. None of this needed to happen, honestly.
