With
(1) increasing long Covid suffering (and sudden death from heart attacks) and
(2) tripledemic with other infections overflowing children hospitals (immune effects)
we have (a) more masking (high quality is best).
There should also be (b) more clean air (e.g. HEPA filtration), (c) more testing, and (d) avoiding in-person meetings.
Important to spread the word that this is happening and we have the ability to take action to prevent infections, and this matters.
@yaneerbaryam agree for the filtration, but for the rest, we cannot live in a perpertual state of emergency, not without dangerously altering the very fabric of society. Covid is here to stay, let's trust the vaccines, accept the sad reality, and move on.

I wish you and your spouse all the best in whatever's next for you, and thank you for your service in schools.
My wife left the public school classroom a couple of years ago after over 15 years and all of her former colleagues who stayed are continually sick, their kids are suffering and by in large they can't figure out why. It's tragic to watch. What's going on is not sustainable, you are correct.
