Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find an LVDS deserializer that can output an image of what was intended for the LCD display?

Basically I want to intercept the signal and get an image file instead of a displayed image.

@Blenster @hacks4pancakes Great. Now I have to go translate all of that and figure out what’s going on.

@TammyGentzel @hacks4pancakes I have a device with an LCD screen and I want to be able to "see" the output remotely for testing.

@Blenster @hacks4pancakes Thank you! Saved me a lot of time stumbling about trying to understand what I know nothing about.

@Blenster @TammyGentzel @hacks4pancakes do you need the raw LCD output? Or is measuring the luminance, colour balance and framerate enough?

@Blenster @TammyGentzel @hacks4pancakes or do you just want to convert the input of the device to something that you can see remotely?

@webhat @TammyGentzel @hacks4pancakes I want to see a copy of what should have shown up in the screen so I can check the image automatically instead of having a human look at it and read the display.

@Blenster @TammyGentzel @hacks4pancakes got it. I think the suggestion in another reply will be simplest, to get a capture card for LVDS
