@CDuBois I was sickened upon reading that story this morning. Leave it to man to mess up the Word.

@Candlelight

It's heart wrenching.

But I keep thinking this may be God's way of shining light on the frauds and traitors ... people as well as institutions.

@CDuBois

I have watched the actions and pronouncements of the church I (still) belong to since well before the 2020 election. It is obvious that denomination is headed far left. Seems the winds of politics blow them further away from biblical teachings. I have not gone back since covid. I have stopped contributing. A piece of my life has disappeared friends, choir bible study. But, it is the physical church aspect, not my belief that is in question. And that feels right.

It's true that the church is not required to continue to grow as a believer, but the lack of corporate worship will have a negative impact on the future. The benefits of coming together to worship cannot be underestimated. We must fight to right the ship.

@Cogent_Texan

Part of the fighting, indeed the first part, is to turn on the lights, and look this blasphemy in the face.

And yes, we must come together as worshipers.

I agree to your comments on corporate worship. I miss that. I will find another group.
