I bided my time with a Sharp whatever until I hocked my soul for a fat Mac, a set of UCSD Pascal floppies and selected tomes of Inside Macintosh.
@Didaho @dbarros I once had what might have been called the Inside Apple //e manual, but I never really used it, I was won over by the openness of DOS & I still have the DOS Programmers Reference up there on my shelf turning to dust.
