@Izzod yeah my meds are kind of a crap shoot. Sometimes I get manufacturer bottles, plus I have three daily OTC meds in their bottles.

Wait, you can ship your ADHD meds? I didn’t think they’d let you do that 👀

@jurijuri @Izzod@izzodlaw.com The OTC bottles are the worst--cut off the plastic, unscrew the top, then try to pull off the next layer or cut through a layer of foil, then pull out the cotton. Alternatively, you have something like a bottle of Pepto where you have to hold both sides in and turn...Thank you Tylenol poisoner, where ever you are

@Dimestorehalo @Izzod scary fact: the Tylenol poisoner struck in my area when I was a baby - including at pharmacies my family frequented.

The Chicago Tribune recently did a long series of articles on the case and I lost my shit.

Follow

@jurijuri @Izzod@izzodlaw.com I was living in the area during that time, finishing up college so I remember the hysteria

@Dimestorehalo @Izzod it must have been HUGE, since I learned about it when I was a kid, which was seven or eight years later.

Also hello from Chicagoland!

@jurijuri @Izzod@izzodlaw.com I can't say that the Tylenol poisoner episode was the last straw (winter actually did it), but I soon moved to the desert. I lasted just about as long in the desert as I did in the Midwest and then I had to move along to yet another climate.

@Dimestorehalo @Izzod I am pretty convinced that I only tolerate winter because I’ve never lived anywhere else 😂

@jurijuri @Izzod@izzodlaw.com Where I live now, a major snowfall is usually pretty much melted in 3-5 days. A cold snap is followed by 40-50 degree days. We had 8" of snow 10 days ago, and very few traces. Not like Chicago, where it never leaves.
