Slow-release fertilizer brings 'dramatic' reduction in greenhouse gas emissions

Research in P.E.I. potato fields using enhanced efficiency fertilizer is showing results that scientists say are 'very significant', and could help #canada meet its target for reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 30 percent.

Please don't boost greenwash!

Question. Are the "enhanced" fertilizers made from fossil fuels? (it's what adverts ["news"] don't say that is often a "red flag" for greenwashing). Artificial fertilizers are not healthy for the environment.

Also, Tractors burn fossil fuels.
The photo shows mono-industrial farming methods that will never be sustainable (they're the problem - not any part of the solution).

is how to grow sustainably whilst also restoring health (fertility) - so that virtually zero natural (non-artificial) fertilizers are required to be added to the soil .agroecologyfund.org/what-is-ag
